Trip Information

Nopparat Thara Pier is a great little pier found to the west of Nopparat Thara Beach in Ao Nang. The pier is Ao Nang's main arrival point by boat. It's relatively small but the pier also acts as the hub for ferries traveling to and from the magnificent surrounding islands and peninsulas. The locals all know the pier well, so just say the name and the local taxis and bus drivers will get you there.

Nopparat Thara Beach is on the other side of a little river. Many Ao Nang citizens love to gather there to enjoy a picnic and a Thai game or two when the sun's not too hot. There's also some awesome little restaurants and food stalls just off the beach. If you have time, go take a look!

Speed Boat: Nopparat Thara Pier - Chong Lard Pier

A beautiful and small pier located on the gorgeous island that is Koh Yao Yai. The Chong Lard pier doesn’t have trips coming in from many places but it does have the important ones like Krabi, Phuket and especially Phang Nga. The trips departing from these places are quite short as they don’t take more than 2 hours of your time. it is definitely a good-looking pier and customers are happy with its services.

Speed Boat: Chong Lard Pier - Manoh Pier

If you are coming in from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi then definitely you will meet the main gates to the island. Manoh Pier is large and has trucks that drop off and pick up some goods and the speedboat usually have some taxi trucks happily waiting to take you to your hotel for a fee. It has boats coming in from many popular destinations like Phuket and Krabi and also has boats going to its neighboring island Koh Yao Yai. The boats are usually large enough to fit a bike which you can take to explore the island freely.

Speed Boat: Manoh Pier - Bang Rong Pier

A splendid pier set on Phuket’s east coast, which is almost 20 minutes away from Phuket Airport by car. This pier is one of the busiest piers in Phuket having boats heading to various places including Koh Yao Noi, Koh Yao Yai, and Koh Naka. It is the main hub for anyone who wants to take a speedboat or water taxi to any of the many neighboring islands, and the boats operate on a daily basis. You may also take a kayak from the pier to check out the breathtaking flora and fauna in the beautiful emerald waters, or you can go for a tasty endeavor and explore the small restaurants near the pier by indulging in some seafood and freshly caught fish.
