Trip Information

Rassada Pier is Phuket's main departure point for ferry trips to the surrounding islands. Most of the big 200-400 seater ferries dock here to pick up their excited travelers. Located just 10 minute's driving distance from Phuket Town, it is positioned conveniently for easy transfer. There's also a large car park if you need to park your hired car there with confidence for a minimal fee. When you get to the pier, you'll be able to check in with your printed E-ticket to the relevant ferry office. We have good relationships with each company and they know what our E-ticket looks like. Simply check in, at least 30 minutes early, take a seat, and grab a coffee or a travel snack from one of the on-site vendors while you're waiting. Car Park Fee at Rassada Pier A parking fee will be charged in case of waiting for more than 8 minutes, as follows: Four wheels/Motorcycles 9 minutes-1 hour       20฿ 1.01 hours-2 hours    40฿ 2.01 hours-3 hours    50฿ 3.01 hours-24 hours

Speed Boat: Rassada Pier - Tonsai Pier

Tonsai Pier (Phi Phi), situated in the center of Tonsai Bay, north of of Phi Phi Don. It's the island's main pier and the busiest, with ferries arriving from Phuket, Krabi and Lanta. Solidly built and so scenic with its surrounding hilly landscape. On arrival, there's a small 20 baht entry fee to the island, and you'll be met by a bunch of merchants holding up banners for tours and hotels.

The pier's atmosphere is bustling, tourists and travelers everywhere, though it's much calmer once the last of the big ferries leaves at around 2:30pm. Suddenly, the charm of Tonsai Bay is apparent, with nice restaurants and tourist shops that line the streets. From here its a short 20 minute stroll to the beautiful white sands of Long Beach.

Speed Boat: Tonsai Pier - Saladan Pier

Saladan Pier is located in the north of Koh Lanta in a small, authentic harbour town that's filled with quaint cafes and local souvenir shops. It's well worth a visit to one of the two wooden-stilted seafood restaurants that sit over the water facing Lanta Noi (little Lanta Island). Accommodation is good with some guesthouses and a couple of hotels nearby.

All of the passenger ferries dock here, arriving from and departing to the awesome surrounding islands. At the pier, often the ferries dock alongside each other so you may need to cross a boat to board your own. Never mind though, it's relatively easy and most of the time there's ferry boat staff to assist you with bags if you need.

Speed Boat: Saladan Pier - Koh Ngai Pier

Speed Boat: Koh Ngai Pier - Koh Mook Pier

The check-in point is so easy to find; the boat operators depart from Koh Mook Pier (The main check-in point) which is located on the North of the island.

Simply show the ferry staff your printed e-ticket that we have sent to you. They will take it from you and replace it with a sticker that you will wear for your ferry trip. This is a really simple process so don't worry at all. The staff is familiar with us at phuketferry.com and your boarding process is going to be 'plain sailing'!
