There are mainly two seasons in Koh Lanta. And the temperature is between an average of 25 °C-32 °C while water temperature is about 29 °C all year long.

The wet season

During this period the island is showered with plenty of rainfall and everything is pretty much closed except for a couple of resorts, hotels, and diving sites. The wet season runs from May to December and from June to October.

The dry season

For 4,000 THB you can rent longer boat tours (for up to a full day) to take you to the natural stone arch and magnificent beaches of Ko Khai to the south, or the spectacular twin islands of Ko Lao Liang.
