From Phuket to Koh Phangan

Phangan Island

Paradise Unveiled: Journeying from Phuket to Phangan

If you associate Koh Phangan solely with the renowned Full Moon Party, it's time to reconsider your perspective. Koh Phangan, the 5th largest island in Thailand, is not just about these famous gatherings.

When you're in Koh Phangan, make sure to visit Thong Sala Night Market. It is primarily a food haven. Don't miss the opportunity to savor the delectable seafood offerings.

For those in search of unique presents and souvenirs, Chatuchak Market is the place to be. This expansive market offers items you won't typically find in America or Europe.

Thong Sala serves as the island's capital and boasts the primary ferry port. Given that Koh Phangan lacks its own airport, it primarily relies on ferries connecting it to Koh Samui and the mainland.

The nearest airport is situated in Koh Samui, offering flights from Phuket, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Chiang Mai, and Kuala Lumpur. Transportation to the ferry pier can be conveniently arranged at Koh Samui's airport, where numerous ferry operators depart several times a day.

If you plan to attend the Full Moon Party or explore the enchanting Thong Nai Pan on Ko Pha Ngan, you'll likely need to take a bus and ferry combo from Surat Thani or travel from Phuket to the island of Koh Phangan. High Speed Ferry tickets can be easily acquired through operators like Phantip Travel.
