Located 25 km west of Surat Downtown, Surat Thani Airport is a great place for anyone seeking a flight in or out of the province as it offers both domestic and international flights on a daily basis. Getting to the airport is very easy as Surat Thani has several options for transportation. The first option is by bus, if you happen to be anywhere near the 3 bus stations in Surat Thani or you are in Bangkok or Krabi then you can get one or more bus/minivan rides to the airport, depending on your current location. Another way to get to the airport is by bus and boat especially if you are in any of the surrounding islands like Koh Phangan, Koh Tao or Koh Samui. Surat Thani also has a really nice train station that has multiple train rides coming in from many places like Bangkok, Chumphon and more, you can get a bus ride or minivan to the airport from the train station as well depending on the availability.

The park also features the marvelous manmade lake called Cheow Lan Lake. The park features amazing species of tigers, hornbill birds, Rafflesia flower and gibbons among many more.
